General Terms
1. Terms
By accessing the website at www.stringssg.com, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
- Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on StringsSG Pte Ltd's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the materials;
- use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);

The materials appearing on StringsSG Pte Ltd website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. StringsSG Pte Ltd does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current. StringsSG Pte Ltd may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However StringsSG Pte Ltd does not make any commitment to update the materials.

StringsSG Pte Ltd has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by StringsSG Pte Ltd of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.
7. Communication with other users
Communication with other users on StringsSG must be conducted through the features like messaging, call and SMS provided by StringsSG. Effective 28th October 2019 you must not post your mobile number on StringsSG. Verified phone numbers are directly linked to the Call and SMS features provided by StringsSG and must always be used when an interaction requires telephonic conversation.
8. License to Service Provider's content
If you are in present or at any point in time in the past have been a service provider on our platform, give us legal permissions (known as a License
) to use your contents from your profile including media. This is solely for the purpose of publicly showcasing your service and improving our products.
Specifically, when you share, post or upload content that is covered by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Products, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate and create derivative works of your content. If you wish, any of your content to not exist on our platform, you can remove them any time by logging in to your account and intimating your intent to us via email to support@stringssg.com. It may take upto 90 working days for complete removal of your content.
9. Listings and Selling Products
Service providers can list their products on StringsSG platform. However, they must ensure that the listed product and the services are up to date and should be able respond to any enquiries made on their product by an individual or business. The listings should not encourage any illegal transactions. Any listing promoting weapons and illegal substance will be taken down without any prior notice.
10. Modifications
StringsSG Pte Ltd may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
11. Refund on Service Provider Subscription
Service provider subscriptions are non-refundable. However, subscriptions can be cancelled by logging in to you account, which with stop any recurring billing.
12. Breach of Terms for Service Providers:
If a service request opened by the client has a monetary value associated with it, the client will be making the payment via the StringsSG platform. Charging clients outside of the knowledge of StringsSG is a breach of terms and is not allowed.
In the case, when any additional work for an assigned job is determined as any point in time, the service provider must charge the client with the additional cost through the StringsSG platform.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
Terms on Packaged Service for Service Provider
1. Closing the job (applicable to first service of the package):
After the first service is complete, the job must be closed immediately under 'Upcoming Jobs', this will help the client to receive the generated service agreement contract and the service record for the first service.
2. Monitoring Service Schedule:
The service provider is responsible for monitoring the subsequent service schedule of packages and ensuring that the services are carried out on time.
3. Service Reminder and Adjusting Schedules:
Next service dates are automatically generated by the platform based on the clients package. The service provider should send reminders to clients at least 7 days before the next service date on the package and wait for a confirmation from client. The client may request a change of date from the platform subject to the service provider's approval.
Sample reminder message (from StringsSG Chat or other messaging platform like WhatsApp):
Hello [name],
As per your packaged service with us, your next servicing is scheduled for [date]. Please confirm the date. If you wish to request a new date please request under "My Packages" of your account by tapping the "Next Service Date", subject to approval based on our availability.

4. New Job Request:
If additional work is needed during a subsequent service, the service provider must send a new job request to the client for approval and proceed upon approval.
5. Timely and Satisfactory Service:
The service provider must provide clients with timely and satisfactory services.
6. Service Record for subsequent services:
After a service is complete for subsequent services, the service provider is responsible for marking the service as 'Complete' with appropriate service remarks for the service record.
7. Responding to Inquiries:
The service provider should respond to any client inquiries through the chat function provided on the StringsSG platform.
8. Breach of Terms:
Charging clients outside of the knowledge of StringsSG is a breach of terms and is not allowed.
Terms on Payment to Service Provider
Please find below the terms for payment from StringsSG to service providers, including the requirement for adherence to invoicing guidelines:
1. Payment Terms:
Payment from StringsSG to service provider's Stripe payout account will automatically occur once the client has made a payment. StringsSG funnels direct transfer of the due amount from the client to the service provider's Payout account setup on the StringsSG platform.
2. Payment to Service Provider's Bank Account:
Service provider can transfer the available balance from their payout account to their bank account or debit card depending on how they are setup on the platform.
3. Valid Invoice:
A valid invoice must include all necessary information as outlined in the invoicing guidelines provided by StringsSG. The service provider is responsible for generating a correct and complete invoice in a timeline manner.
4. Invoicing Guidelines:
The service provider must adhere to the invoicing guidelines provided by StringsSG. Any deviation from the guidelines may result in delay or rejection of payment from client.
- Additional costs to the client must be confirmed by the service provider with client before the invoice is updated.
- StringsSG handles invoicing to the client. Service providers must not issue any other invoice to the client from their side.
- Service providers must follow any instructions related to invoicing, issued over email to their registered email Id.
5. Payment Mode:
StringsSG funnels direct transfer of the due amount from the client to the service provider's Payout account setup on the StringsSG platform. In some cases, payment shall be made via the mode specified by StringsSG, such as bank transfer or online payment.
6. Termination of Services:
StringsSG reserves the right to terminate services in the event of a breach of agreement or non-compliance with invoicing guidelines.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the service provider acknowledges their responsibility to generate accurate and complete invoices in compliance with invoicing guidelines provided by StringsSG. Payment shall be made only for valid invoices generated in accordance with the guidelines.
Consumer Client Payment for Service
Please find below the terms and conditions for payment within 48 hours of services rendered, with an applicable daily compounded interest rate of 3% for late payments:
1. Payment Terms:
The client shall make payment for services rendered within 48 hours of receipt of the invoice.
2. Interest on Late Payment:
If the client fails to make payment within the aforementioned 48-hour period, a daily compounded interest rate of 3% will be applicable until the outstanding amount is paid in full.
3. Payment Mode:
Payment shall be made via the StringsSG platform via the available modes of payment. If you cannot make the payment with the available modes of payment, please cancel your request for service or contact us within 24 hours from the time of service request open.
4. Disputed Invoices:
If the client disputes an invoice, they shall notify the service provider within 24 hours of receiving the invoice. If the dispute cannot be resolved, the matter shall be referred to an arbitrator appointed by both parties.
5. Payment Default:
If the client defaults on payment, then StringsSG and/or the service provider reserves the right to take legal action to recover the outstanding amount, including but not limited to engaging debt collection agencies.
6. Termination of Services:
The service provider reserves the right to terminate services in the event of payment default by the client.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the client acknowledges their responsibility to make timely payment for services rendered, and understands the consequences of defaulting on payment.
