Sagging or kinked pipe
The drain pipe needs a downhill slope all the way out. Renovation or a loose clip can create a dip where water sits.
Frozen coil
A clogged filter or low gas freezes the coil; when it melts, the tray overflows.
Unit not level
If the indoor unit tilts the wrong way, water runs out of the tray before it reaches the drain.

A drain flush costs RM85.74 for one unit. A general service, which also clears the drain, costs RM89.24.
Switch it off if water is near a socket or electrics. Otherwise, catch the water and book a service soon - the leak usually gets worse.
Filters and cover washed, coil and blower cleaned, drain tray and pipe cleared, compressor checked and gas pressure measured.
Mould on the coil is not removed by a general service. A chemical wash is the fix; the technician will advise you.
A general service starts at RM89.24 for one wall-mounted unit, including transport. Servicing more units on the same visit lowers the price per unit.
